Axle Stud Pattern Changes
When changing wheel manufacturers, there's a fair chance you'll need to change your axle's stud pattern. Ozdiff Performance Products can redrill and modify your existing axle heads to match the pattern of your new rims.
Axle Re-splining

Ozdiff's diff and axle inspection services employs state-of-the-art computer controlled straightening machinery to accurately measure and straighten damaged and worn diff housings, axles and tailshafts; in many cases returning them to their optimal shape without the use of heat.

Ozdiff's dynamic tailshaft balancing and driveshaft remanufacturing service uses state-of-the-art computer controlled high-velocity balancing equipment to ensure your tailshaft is straight, correctly phased and completely balanced.
As subtleties such as type and depth of weld, or minute variances in forged driveline componentry can cause slight variations in even the most standard and common of shaft assemblies, each shaft is unique and must be treated individually. For New Gears: Ozdiff's state-of-the-art gear lapping machine is an ideal way to ensure maximum life out of your new crown wheel and pinion set. By running the pair together under pressure and through an abrasive compound the gear lapper meshes your new crown wheel and pinion together to produce a matched pair of gears that will wear less and perform better than a non-lapped gear set.
Restorative Gear Lapping: In the same way gear lapping meshes new gear sets together to provide a flawless mating surface, it can also be used to restore and improve the matched performance of used and damaged gear sets. Whilst lapping is unable to reclaim metal, it will be able to maximise any residual life in your gear set so you can save your hard earned for another day ... or another mod!
